About the band
Rooted in the Willamette Valley
Big Fir formed in Oregon’s Willamette Valley in 2022 around a shared interest in original music, creative freedom, and genuine musical connection. Femme-fronted and intentionally difficult to reduce to one genre, the band brings together rocking blues, soulful storytelling, roots music, improvisation, and a few carefully chosen covers. The result is music that can feel intimate one moment and expansive the next.
